Jeep Off-Roading Trails Virginia

Located near Millboro is the Stony Run Jeep Trail. It's almost 12 miles long and has a steep learning curve, as the trail is very rocky and steep. If you're an experienced Jeep driver, this trial will only pose a mild challenge. Over its long run, you will enjoy several excellent views of the George Washington National Forest. Overall, this trial should take around four hours to complete for an experienced Jeep driver. Another great trail is located a little outside of Virginia. Known as Chaos Off-Road Park it has plenty of trails available, which will make it well worth the trip. The trail is located in Capon Bridge, WV, and has trails for every skill level. During the warmer months, there is plenty of mud to get dirty in if that's your thing.

Peters Mill Run Trail is located in Fort Valley and is about 12 miles long and moderately challenging. The trail consists of a handful of creek crossings along the way, and you will need an off-road permit ahead of time to drive on it. The next trail that we have to mention is the Blue Ridge Trail which is a point-to-point trail that is around 17 miles long and offers gorgeous views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, where you might even catch the occasional view of wildlife.

The next trail we need to tell you about is in Phillips, WV, known as King Knob Motorsports Park. It is located just outside Virginia and has over 200 miles of trails and on-site camping. This trail has plenty of rugged terrain, mud, and ponds for you to get muddy in. There is also fun for the entire family, so if you're looking for a leisurely trail ride, they have it, but if you're looking for an adrenaline rush, they have that too! Another great park located not that far from Alexandria is the Savage River State Forest which comes with scenic trails that are ideal for off-roading in your Jeep. You will also find a campground to spend several days on the trails. 

Another trail located not that far from Alexandria is the Assateague Island National Seashore, with several miles of unspoiled beaches for over-shore vehicles and Jeep enthusiasts to enjoy. You'll need a permit to drive on the beaches and some special tools to ensure a safe trip. Another great is Potts Mountain which has several roads and trails for all sorts of difficulty types. It's safe to say that Potts Mountain in New Castle features some of the best views of the mountain ridge line.
