Here at Pearson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, we believe drivers should be well informed on the latest announcements in the automotive industry. That said, please continue reading below to discover the all-new, all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack!

How is the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Powered?

The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona lineup features a 400-volt propulsion system that is designed to deliver the performance of the Hellcat's supercharged V8 with instant torque response and zero tailpipe emissions. A high-voltage battery pack is incorporated into the system along with an electric drive module (EDM) on both the front and rear axles. The rear EDM includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, increasing performance and traction. Meanwhile, the front EDM features a wheel-end disconnect to improve efficiency and range. Both the front and rear EDMs have a 3-in-1 architecture, including the inverter, gearbox, and motor, each generating 335 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the EDMs are powered by a 100.5 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack with a discharge rate of up to 550 kW, making it meticulously crafted for maximum acceleration by allowing the EDMs to utilize the most power the battery can put out within a quarter-mile. The Daytona's 400-volt powertrain essentially offers six distinct power levels in one. For instance, the Daytona Scat Pack features a Stage 2 kit with up to 670 horsepower. With the front and rear EDMs, all Charger Daytona models come standard with all-wheel drive.

What Performance Enhancing Features Does it Offer?

Although electric, the Dodge Charger Daytona models still come with much of Dodge's muscle car DNA. The Daytona Scat Pack, for example, comes with Dodge's new PowerShot feature, which provides a fifteen-second boost of 40 additional horsepower. The 2024 Charger lineup also features an array of drive modes, including Auto, Custom, Sport, Eco, and Wet/Snow. Meanwhile, the high-performance Daytona Scat Pack model comes with Track, Drag, Drift, and Donut modes. Other race options are included in these models, including Line Lock and Launch Control. With the Track Package, the Daytona Scat Pack adds high-performance Brembo brakes with red calipers and vented rotors, Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar stagger-fit wheels (305mm front, 325mm rear), dual-valve adaptive damping suspension, and more!

Design Elements of the 2024 Dodge Charger

Dodge took the Charger back to the drawing board for the 2024 model year. Drawing inspiration from previous generations of the legendary model, the 2024 Charger is an eclectic blend of classic and modern. For example, Dodge brings back the Fratzog logo, originally found on Dodge models between 1962 and 1976, for the 2024 Charger, replacing the Dodge Rhombi emblem. This badge can be found on the front and rear fascias as well as the wheel center caps. The Charger Daytona models feature a patent-pending front R-Wing, paying homage to the original Charger Daytona model while also enhancing the aerodynamics and downforce. The Daytona Scat Pack comes with 20-by-11-inch Satin Carbon Wheels. Meanwhile, the available Blacktop Package features 20-by-10-inch Black Noise wheels, and the Track Package adds 20-by-11 or 20-by-11.5-inch Luster wheels. The 2024 Dodge Charger is available in eight exterior color options: White Knuckle, Triple Nickle, Redeye, Peel Out, Diamond Black, Destroyer Grey, Bludicrous, and After Dark. Inside, you'll still find Dodge's signature driver-focused dash layout. However, the cabin is nearly completely overhauled. Behind the wheel is a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, while a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen occupies the center stack. The performance-oriented steering wheel features a flat bottom/flat top design, paddle shifters for regenerative braking, and an easily accessible PowerShot button on the front. Other interior features include an all-new modern pistol-grip shifter, a center console push-button ignition, cloth/leatherette upholstery, and much more.
