Headed to the Pool? You Have to Try These Pool Bag Hacks    
 
Before you pile everyone into the car and head off to the pool, you'll need to pack your pool bag. Of course you've got your sunscreen and that book you know you'll never get a chance to read, but what if there was a way to hack your pool bag so that you have everything you and your kids will need for a day of fun in the sun but not lose everything in that bottomless bag? 

So before you grab your towels and sun hat, check out these pool bag hack.    

  • If you have a small jewelry organizer, use it to store your valuables, cash, phone, and keys. This way everything has a place and won't get lost or buried at the bottom of your pool bag. Use the extra pockets to store sunscreen and to keep that book nice and dry.   
  • Buy each child a small mesh bag and store their goggles and small swim toys inside. This way everyone has their own bag, their own stuff, and it won't spill out all over your pool bag.      
  • Sure you could purchase a waterproof cellphone cover, or you can hack one with a plastic sandwich bag. Just place your phone inside and it will be safe from rogue splashes.   
  • If you are carrying pool passes for your whole family, use a lanyard or keychain to keep them all together. Then toss those inside your jewelry organizer so you won't misplace them.   
  • Freeze a few water bottles and use them as ice packs to keep your snacks cool. Then when the ice melts, enjoy the cold water.   
  • Put a roll of dog poo bags into your pool bag. These compact bags are perfect for wet bathing suits, cleaning messes, and carrying home wet items.   
  • If your kids love to snack at the pool, place the snacks in a small craft organizer box. The small compartments are the perfect size to fill with crackers, candy, and pretzels. When the pool day is done, just fill it back up for the next pool day.    
  • Pack towels in a mesh laundry bag. They are big enough to carry lots off towels and are perfect for carrying home wet towels.
