New 2017 Chrysler 300 at Pearson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for Richmond, VA
The Chrysler 300 is inspired. It takes a whole new approach to a full-size sedan, drawing in the influence of places and styles to create an artistic, bold vehicle that doubles as a work of art. This year, an Alloy Edition Package inspired by Detroit, the birthplace of the 300S, debuts. It offers unique appearance attributes, such as Black Nappa leather seats stitched with Caramel thread and complimented by contrasting Liquid Titanium accents on the inside. The outside of the 300S when equipped with the Alloy Edition Package offers a blacked-out exterior with Dark Bronze accents for a rich, deep symphony of color. A new exterior paint color is also available this year-Ceramic Gray. This color takes its inspiration from avant-garde movements and is offered as a 'straight shade' to accentuate the features of the 300.
Under the 300's Hood
The Chrysler 300 has two available engine options, both of which are accompanied by a class-exclusive TorqueFlite automatic eight-speed transmission. This transmission provides the V6 engine with best-in-class highway fuel economy, as well as providing both engines with a best-in-class driving range. The first engine, the crown jewel of Chrysler, is a 3.6-liter V6 engine known as the Pentastar. This is one of the finest V6 engines on the market, and it produces 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for the 300. It's even more powerful in the 300S, where it offers 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. Alternatively, the 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum can be equipped with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that offers a Fuel Saver Technology that drops it down to a four-cylinder when conditions allow. This engine offers a substantial 363 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque.
Design of Chrysler 300
The Chrysler 300 is a large, bold, full-size sedan with room for five passengers. It's offered in four trim levels known as the Limited, 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum. One of the most fantastic features of all the models is an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system known as the Uconnect. The 300S is the sportiest of the models, offering youthful and athletic styling cues for a sculpted shape as well as touring- or performance-tuned suspension and blacked-out accents. Inside the cabin, it offers paddle shifters and a sport mode, leather-coated sport seats, a signature 10-speaker BeatsAudio system, and Piano Black interior accents. The 300C Platinum is the peak of the lineup, offering Platinum Chrome finishes exclusive to this model, quilted and perforated Nappa leather seats and door panels unseen in any other vehicle in the class, natural hand-sanded pore wood, a leather-trimmed steering wheel with a chrome accent ring, and French accent stitching throughout the cabin.
